ファイアサイド・チャット:コロナ禍におけるアジャイル製造

What does it mean to be agile in manufacturing? The onset of the Covid-19 pandemic and its spread around the world put many manufacturing teams to the test as they shifted production in a matter of weeks to meet new and evolving demands. Overnight, manufacturing agility became a necessity for delivering life-saving products to customers.

In this 40-minute fireside chat, we will hear from Rodrigo Molina of Stratasys, a 3D printing and additive manufacturing maker. In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic early in 2020, Rodrigo and his team adopted new technology to rapidly transition production to produce and donate tens of thousands of face shields for medical professionals in a week.

We’ll follow Rodrigo’s journey of accelerating production with digital work instructions, shifting focus to improving efficiency with job routing and machine monitoring, and to realizing the unexpected benefits of the connected worker.
